Sonshiny Day

Growing up in the 1980s was good, especially when you were glued to the television on Saturday mornings like I was. There were some fantastic cartoons that came out during that era. However, you always knew that Saturday morning cartoons were over when the shitty children's shows came on. The ones I can remember off the top of my head were Harrigan, Oopsy the Clown, Let's Go, and one awful children's show called "Sonshiny Day". The host was an irritating blonde zealot named Audrey Meisner who regularly interacted with Muppet-like characters who were less creepy and irritating than her.

I instantly grabbed this video when I saw it on the shelf at the thrift store, remembering how terrible the show was, and it didn't fail to disappoint.

There's a scene in this video where the overly-happy Christian lady gets mad at the child on her left, and likely screamed her face off while nearly breaking his arm for playing with the slime in a non-Christian like manner.

Now, I leave you to enjoy the inevitable marriage between Jesus and slime.
